Investing In Agriculture: Start small,Grow big, Fact or Fiction?
Agribusiness is a game of number; the more/bigger you cultivate,the better you get out of it. You can’t compare the revenue of someone who cultivate one acre of land with 100 or more acres or some who rears 10 livestocks with 1000 animals; all things being equal. Start small and grow big; the question is how small can i start and how big can i grow? Are there yardstick for measuring how small one should start or how big one should grow? The proponent of this advice believe that if you start small(maybe some plots or start with small number of livestock), you can make some mistake ,learn and grow steadily. You will hear something like “start with a plot of land at your backyard,learn the inside out and grow big after that”.
